For the last 11 years, Douglas has remained in an executive role managing P&L’s in excess of $35MM. His entrepreneurial talent has allowed him to turn around struggling healthcare companies from financial disasters to profit margins that lead the industry.
Mr. Tisdale’s passion is removing barriers for patients to have successful recoveries, improved health, and a preventative lifestyle that assist patients avoiding entering the healthcare system altogether. Having a multitude of Instructor level clinical certifications, by teaching physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals, Mr. Tisdale is able to help those professionals maintain a high degree of clinical competence to ensure the patients receive the right care at the right time.
After the death of his mother-in-law, Douglas and his wife Dawn decided to spend the rest of their lives ensuring other patients did not fall through the many gaps in our complex healthcare system. They founded Living Grace, Inc., A Patient Advocacy Group in Birmingham, AL. Standing in the gap for patients and their families, Living Grace provides services including coordination of care, assistance with medical billing issues, and education regarding a patient’s diagnoses.
Married with four children, Mr. Tisdale resides in Alabaster, AL, a suburb of the metro Birmingham, AL. In his spare time he volunteers with Aaron’s Staff, a respite care center for severely disabled children.
