Curtis began his career in public accounting in 1978 and has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1981. He started Curtis S. Collins, CPA in 1982. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network, Member FINRA. He also has a life insurance license with the state of Georgia.
Curtis received an ABA from Young Harris College in 1969, a BBA from the University of Georgia in 1971, and an MBA from Georgia State University in 1977. He has also served as an instructor at Brenau University and on the Board of Trustees at Truett-McConnell College.
After seeing a need to help clients with investment matters, Curtis went back to school to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP). In addition, he is a Certified Wealth Planning Professional (CWPPTM), Certified Asset Protection Planner (CAPPTM), and also has an accreditation as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS).
