What do proper estate planning, penguins, and Pez dispensers have in common? They’re all things Attorney George P. Guertin is passionate about. Attorney Guertin is the senior partner at Guertin and Guertin, LLC, a law firm dedicated to Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate Administration in North Haven, Connecticut.

Attorney Guertin is as dedicated to collecting as he is to his clients. One walk thru his office proves that. The walls and shelves are filled with the various collections Attorney Guertin has amassed over his nearly 20 years in practice, including his two favorites - penguins and Pez.

Attorney Guertin’s expertise and easygoing style have made him popular with his peers as well as his clients. He is a faculty member at the National Business Institute and is a member of Wealth Counsel’s Professional Speakers Bureau. He also co-wrote the book, Planning for the Future: A Practical Guide to Estate Planning and Avoiding Bad “Heir” Days, with his son and partner, Marc. Attorney Guertin has also written numerous articles and has appeared on radio and television discussing estate planning.

He is also community minded. Attorney Guertin is a member and past President of the North Branford Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member and past Board of Directors member of the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut. He has also served on the North Branford Town Council and as Deputy Mayor of North Branford. He was named a “Person of the Week” in 2006 by The Sound newspaper, and “Chamber Member of the Year” by the North Branford Chamber of Commerce in 2002.

Attorney Guertin earned his Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude from the University of New Haven and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law. He is admitted to practice before the bars in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and the U. S. Supreme Court.
