Philip Brown graduated from UC Berkeley in 1964 with an A.B. in Political History, then went on to graduate from UCLA School of Law in 1967.

Today, Mr. Brown is a sole practitioner who focuses on both trial and appellate civil litigation. He has handled a wide range of matters, including financial elder abuse, securities fraud (Zweig v. The Hearst Corp. (9th Cir. 1979) 594 F.2d 126), general contract and business tort litigation (Ales-Peratis Foods International, Inc. v. American Can Co. (1985) 164 Cal.App.3d 277), institutional lender litigation, will contests, health insurance law matters, medical and legal malpractice, and products liability.

Mr. Brown is also a Life Member of the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Less than 1 percent of U.S. lawyers are members. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won multimillion-dollar verdicts, awards, and settlements.
